i reli miss teaching like mad... urgh... i've been chanting like up to 6 hours a day to go back to ctss to teach... omg... it's like takin away part of my life can... reli miss my 3d1... my 3c2... my 2c1... my 2a/b2... I MISS YOU ALL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! dis is so cold turkey la... ARGH~!!! miss teaching so much... miss e fun in e staff room too... christine... ruth... fiona... jen-sin... shiling... mrs cheong... mr ho... miss u all so so much...

went out wif ruth, christine, dasen, weihao, jonathan and jessica afta tt... went to vila'ge again... twice in one wk... shldnt haf asked for my steak to be well done... those peeps encouraged mi to try medium rare and medium well done e nxt time... mayb i shld haf stuck to rosti... lolz... took quite a few photos after tt... more to add to my album!!! hahaha...
wonder if i shld go ahead wif writin e letter...

after reading ruth's and christine's blog entries about their funny class scenarios, i really must pen down a few of my own...
Scenario 1
setting: class is making a lot of noise. teacher is very irritated with student A, who is making a lot of noise.
me: so student A, if selling price minus cost price gives a positive value, it means i'm making a lost right?
student A: yes!
(whole class laughs)
Scenario 2
setting: teacher is relieving the english class, which is currently doing expository essays.
me: (writes this question down on the board. The trade in weapons can never be justified. Discuss.) in this world ruled by men, do you realise that even their weapons are made to look like their own genitals? think about missiles! they're long and slim and tapered towards the end. and they put a little explosive on top. when it's fired, it heads straight towards its target and when it reaches, it explodes and scatters itself as far as possible and lives are involved.
(whole class shaking with uncontrollable laughter)
Scenario 3
setting: teacher steps into class for the first time.
me: so do you have a maths rep? (class remains silent) who wants to volunteer? (class remains silent) ok... so who don't want to volunteer... (3 hands shoot up) ok... (points at student A who raised his hand first) you'll be my maths rep!
Scenario 4 (this happened with 2 classes)
setting: teacher writes some questions on the board.
me: (writes "You have struck lottery today" on the board, followed by a list of students' names) all right, these lucky people please come up and present your answers on the board. i never assign anyone to any question, so if you're fast you can get the easy ones!
(students ABCDEFG rush up to the board and markers)
student A,C and F: eh, dun want... i want this question!
student B: eh cher... which question i do ar?
Scenario 5
setting: teacher is teaching. class making a lot of noise.
me: the class diary starts today right? i have to grade you on your class behaviour you know?
(class quietens down instantaneously.)
like christine said... itz nt jz fun and laughter in the classroom... itz also fun and laughter sometimes in the staff room...
setting: ruth is marking journals. christine and i slide on our chairs towards her to help her with some of her struggles in grammar.
Ruth: is angry an adjective or verb?
Christine: it can be an adjective and verb.
me: it depends on the context in which you are using the word. in "i'm angry", it's a verb. (i don't know if i was saying the right thing la. but for some strange reason, it sounded correct at that time.)
Christine: "angry christine", it's an adjective.
Ruth: *seems very enlightened* OHH!!! so ANGRINESS is a noun lah!!
Christine and I : !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANGER RUTH!!! ANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(breaks into helpless laughter)
after this scenario, the 'angriness' became a laughin pt for christine n mi... hahaha... still laugh like mad when i tink abt it...
now tt i've put a full stop to my first chapter in teaching, i really hope i can continue on with chapter 2 in ctss before i haf to enlist... i've reli developed such a strong burnin passion for teachin...
let's see... all my jokers... from 3C2... De Wei... Nicholas... talk non-stop in my class de... lolz... from 2C1... saville and jin ping... like to slp in class... si ying and hui joo... giggle at everythin i say... chin kai and luqmann... like to talk to e 2 guys behind... alex... dun hand in my work... so mani... 2A/B2... brenban... joker of e class... esther... will nv forget how she hit mi in sec 2 camp... sheila... chairperson of 2A2... oso like to joke n talk in class... cheryl... my quiet, dependable maths rep of 2A2... emman... my good-natured 2B2 maths rep... 3D1 generally dun haf jokers la... too guai le... well... nicholas wee is dao la... typical beng look... nv looks at mi in class... loses attention easily... but produces gd work tho... hmm... tinkin of referrin him to mel cheang...
i reli reli miss teaching... ruth n christine were complainin abt workload and students... haha... wish i cld take over their load... i'd gladly do so...
today was my last day doing relief teaching in ctss... i'm already missing it like mad le... how? lolz... today took a few pictures with my 2A2/2B2 combined express maths class... love dem to bits la, though i shout at dem all e time... let's see... mayb itz time i summed up how i tink my 4 classes will tink of mi...
for my 2A2/2B2... i dun tink i've left a bad impression on dem... however much i scold or yell at dem dey always forget it e next day... dey're reli such warm ppl... haha... MY FAVOURITE CLASS!!! =p
for my 2C1... today i warmed up to dem as well... tho i guess a few of dem like jin ping and saville will haf their knife into me la... lolz... dis class is like so chatty... urgh...
i oso love my 3D1... well i dun spose dey'll love me much, considerin e way i always push dem like mad... lolz... esp ppl like mr nicholas wee... he reli gif mi e total pai kia look la... but he can do my work pretty well... so no complaints on tt... also one of my betta classes...
as for my 3C2... i like quite a number of dem... ppl like my maths rep nicholas... de wei... jia hao... like i said, even tho jia hao has a record wif e sch i still like him... at least he bothers to pay attention in my class... tho work always nv hand in de la... lolz... i flung quite a number of markers today... so nt surprised if dey haf their knife into mi...
but like i said... i reli haf no regrets comin into relief teachin and reli love dis job so so so so so so much!!! haha...
went out wif ruth, christine, liwen, jonathan and weihao today... again it was another session of jokes and laughter... reli gona miss bitchin wif christine, ruth and fiona in e staff room!!! hahaha...
can't wait till i officially start teaching... ^_^

blogger has just deleted my entry... but since i'm in such a great mood today i shall type it all out again!!!
today i had so much fun!!! onli 2 lessons today... 2C1 and 3D1... surprisingly i enjoyed my 2C1 lesson more... they cheered so loudly when i said no maths homework for the weekend and shouted things like "Mr Ong, we love you!"... so when i gif hw itz "Mr Ong, may you burn in hell!"? gettin a sore throat from all that talkin and yellin liaoz... gave consultation to Qin Pei and Grace afta sch too... nt bad ar... consultation so early in e yr...
today left school quite early... haha... rite now i'm supposedly havin this major 'crush' on ruth... haha... gossiping among ourselves la... fiona, christine, ruth n me... so yalor... jz play along... took taxi to heeren for lunch... rosti rocks~!!!! hahaha... picked e wrong ice cream flavour for my dessert... christine's was so much nicer... haiz... ruth had an oyster for dessert... eeks... lolz... continued chattin for i tink 2 hours... siaoz de... christine was feelin so comfy afta lunch she was feelin so slpy... hahaha... heard quite a lot abt dem, their lives n opinions... shared quite a bit abt myself too... ^_^
talked to alex jz now... e poor guy facin some rship prob now... hope wad i shared wif him helps... jiayou dude~!!!
leaving next monday... gonna miss everybody... esp my 2A2 and 2B2 combined express maths class... itz a reli warm class... picked e right maths reps too... lolz... haiz... dis jz sucks... =(

monday's gona be my last day in school... still haven typed out the thing for janet yet... so much work to do... gort 4 classes of work in my bag to mark... :S i tink i'm e onli relief teacher who stays in school for 10 hours... siaoz... reli gona miss CTSS more den ever now tt i'm a teacher n leavin jz as i'm startin to build rapport with my classes... jz sucks... =(
sec 2 ASPIRE camp jz finished on fri... had so much fun!!! hahaha... hang out wif all e lower sec tchrs... reli clicked with quite a few of dem... all of dem r veri veri frenly n ez to hang out wif... still feels a bit weird n rude to call dem by their last names tho... but oso weird if i call by surname... hmm... i call by surname those who haf taught mi b4 and those who r way more senior den mi... those young tchrs i usually call by last name la... for e benefit of those ctss juniors who read my blog... i'll include e surnames as well... hmm... let's see... hit off quite well wif roseza (mdm roseza)... she's always so frenly n bubbly... can speak a little bit of chinese oso... lolz... (ms) sharmini is oso nice... (ms) haslinda and (ms) mona were new too... but oso frenly la... but a bit quiet... hahaha... mrs cheong, mrs lim n mdm tan r as usual e more motherly types... tho mrs cheong is viewed by some tchrs as being picky... i jz tink she's more thorough n demandin abt e things she expects i guess... =) talked quite a bit wif shiling (mrs ong) and choy wan (ms woong) too... i guess e part i rmb e most wld b singin duets wif shiling... mr and mrs ong... hahaa... she quite pretty ar... ;) can sing quite well... enjoyed singing all those duets wif her... went on e same bus wif shu jiun (ms koh)... on e trip there nt much action la... but on e way back... woohoo... total madness man!!! hahaha...
i get along wif e female tchrs betta den e male tchrs lei... hmm... yong meng (mr chua) n kok thye (mr chua)... somehow jz can't seem to click wif dem veri well... i can click fairly well wif kim keong (mr tan) la... cuz met him b4... so still nt too bad... but overall i guess it was ok...
during e whole camp i was in charge of raftin for first 2 sessions n kayakin for e last session... raftin was quite fun n cool... seein dem learn how to build it... e satisfaction n fun tt those sec 2s enjoy... ^_^... kayakin looked cool too... looks reli fun in fact... wanted to join... but didnt haf extra shoes wif mi... =( seein how those sec 2s enjoy demselves made mi smile too... =D
as for e camp leaders (CLs)... i guess e main feature wld b darren... he's reli a v nice guy... ez to talk to... soccer player... gort brains, looks n physique... but found out his ego a bit big... can b kinda irritatin sometimes... jz e type gals wld swoon over... found out some stuff tt made my impression of him tarnish a little... but still... he did a great job in boostin e spirit wif e other CLs...
fiona oso a CL... didnt noe she was a soka member... she's quite pretty... ;) she told mi tt she saw mi ard in soka a few times... said i wuz veri noticeable... am i? -.-''' haha... she's e sweet smile easy goin bubbly nature type... didnt get much chance to chat wif her la... but still she's left a pretty deep impression in mi...
a third one will b jia er... she popped over to raftin on e 2nd session... den chatted wif her for a v long while... talked abt how our ccas look like they're abt to collapse soon... haiz... den talkin abt all our past experiences lorz... now 1st 3 mths in MI... ex-netballer... looks like it la... given her poise n physique... again another frenly gal... =)
oso gort to noe kim meng... still feel kinda farnie how these guys address u as tchr or mr ong... still feels weird to mi... kim meng quite polite ar... always address mi properly even tho i'm obviously onli a few yrs older den him... he reminds mi of jun wen... except tt he's much more well-built den jun wen... but otherwise from the braces to e way of speech he reli looks veri similar... lolz... kept pronouncin his name wrongly in e beginnin... =P
sec 2 ASPIRE camp has been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!! reli din regret goin... ^_^
school starts again nxt wk!!! haiz... lolz...
today marks the end of my third day in CTSS as a teacher... I LOVE MY JOB!!! haha... teaching reli has been so much fun recently... i like my 3C2 e best so far... no doubt they're a normal academic class but they're so much more responsive to me compared to my 3D1, which is my sec 3 express class... oso jz found out today i'm sposed to b teachin a maths... -.- but hey, i'm nt complainin... i prefer teachin a maths... more familiar esp since most of it is covered again in jc... as for my sec 2 classes... my 2A2 and 2B2 combined class are usually quite gd wif mi, cuz i tink i terrorised dem quite a bit... my 2C1 isn't as gd tho... -.-''' chatty like mad... li wen, christine, ruth n i were crackin our sides wif laughin at some of our students n e way dey behaved n some of e expressions on ruth's n christine's faces r jz totally priceless... LOLZ...
actually got loads more to say la... but as usual... i'm lazy...
can't believe my testimony covered one page n more on e ssa times... omg jih yang wad did u do? hahaha...
