suddenly mid-autumn festival feels more real now that it's actually coming... really looking forward to seeing that big bunch of peeps again... like i said, how many people still can say their primary school friends still meet up on such a basis? haha...
CFG tomorrow. Sigh, i've really let nicholas down.
i really want ASD to cut an album. i really really really want that to happen!!! ASD has created so many wonderful tunes and songs and it really would be such a terrible waste to use it just once and forget all about it! we could cut an album and send it to Sensei! he'd really be happy to see and hear it. music transcends all languages!
went to Friday rendezvous yesterday. wonder what made su xin write such sad lyrics.

after hearing about Qing Rui's death i must admit i was shaken. heard about it from zhenhui the day after he passed away, which was quite a number of days ago but felt compelled to pen down my own thoughts after reading a blog entry. a guy my age has just been embraced in the arms of the Grimreaper just like that. when zhenhui first told me about it, it really gave me a shock. the guy who was in my sec sch and jc just passed on like that. i don't know him very well, just know that he existed but still, it undoubtedly shook me. just how fragile is life? who suffers more? the one lying there? or the ones crowding around the one lying there?
but what disturbs me more is how we take people and the things we have for granted all the time. we always assume people will always be there for us, so we just carry on with our lives like that. only when the Grimreaper pays a visit do people really open their eyes and see. people are all like that, aren't they? we look but do not see. we hear but do not listen. we touch but do not feel. after the Grimreaper has visited, people open their eyes for a while, only to let them slam shut again and continue with their lives. who is more cruel? the Grimreaper? or is it Time? Time, who trudges on steadily without stopping, leaving a trail of destruction, despair and regret, with us trailing behind it, struggling to keep up. sometimes, i don't feel it's the Grimreaper who's the cruel one.
